Who is Finding Our Voices?

The co-founders of Finding Our Voices: Healing Art Activities for Survivors of Sexual Assault (and their allies) meet in Colorado Springs. The co-founders are Joyce Aubrey (L), Lynn Tolson (R), and Cindilin Pettibone (center). We are hard at work developing the artists' exhibit for Sexual Abuse Awareness Month (SAAM) in April, 2010. The exhibit promises to be an enlightening and empowering experience for all participants. We encourage you to submit your art, especially as it applies to your healing journey. As you heal, you help others heal.

Finding Our Voices is for YOU! This exhibit provides a safe, empowering opportunity for trauma survivors and their allies to freely express their feelings of pain and anger, to honor their process of healing and recovery and to share their paths of growth. Artists who exhibit their creative expressions of healing at these events help to raise awareness in the community and stand as advocates for the prevention of sexual of abuse.
